Tips to Keep Joints Healthy

Tips to Keep Joints Healthy
Many of us suffer from joint pain and it is no longer something that afflicts only the elderly. These days, we see people in their twenties and thirties with joint pain.

The great news is that you don’t have to suffer through this. There are numerous natural remedies that will improve your overall health.

Take care of your body and it will serve you well for 80, 90 years and beyond.

Your personal exercise program

At some point, we all look in the mirror and decide that we need to get fit and tone our body. Whether it’s a New Year’s Resolution or the arrival of spring/summer, we look for some truly effective exercises to lose some weight and get our joints healthier.

One can join a gym but many a time, we go very diligently for a few weeks or months and then just lose interest. The exercises we do at a gym can be replicated at home with just a set of 5- or 10-pound barbells and a resistance tube with handles. If we can get in the habit of working out daily at home, then this can produce better results than the gym simply because we will be more consistent.

Working your body out each week is a good way to alleviate joint pain. Just remember not to overdo it. Do these exercises regularly but don’t push your body too far.

Try these 7 toning exercises to relieve joint pain.

Toning Exercise #2: Squat & Shoulder Press

Toning Exercise #7: Bicep Curls

Get up and move!

Remember that staying in one place and not moving for hours, as we sometimes do while binge watching TV or surfing the web will make our joints hurt.

You’ll feel best if you get up every hour and go outside. Get some fresh air. Take a brief walk. Get in the habit of exercising each day. Find a few of the above exercises that you like and do them diligently. Your joints will thank you.
