Juvenon Memory Study
A double blind, placebo-controlled pilot study of Acetyl-L-Carnitine and Alpha-Lipoic Acid – the two main ingredients found in Juvenon – was recently conducted on individuals with age-associated memory impairment (AAMI). The study focused on working memory, which is a system for temporarily storing and managing the information required to carry out complex cognitive tasks such as learning, reasoning, and comprehension. Working memory is reportedly one of the first types of memory to diminish as people age. Those in the trial taking Juvenon regularly for a period of three months demonstrated improved working memory as measured by specialized memory tests. The 72 individuals in the study were randomly divided into three groups:
Group I: Took a typical daily dose of Juvenon (1000 mg. of Acetyl-L-Carnitine and 400 mg. of Alpha-Lipoic Acid). This group experienced a 9.3% boost in their working memory.
Group II: Took twice the daily dose of Juvenon. This group experienced a 17.6% improvement in working memory. Group III: Took a placebo and reported working memory improved by just 0.9%. ![]() Dr. Ben Treadwell characterizes these results as “quite impressive.” Thanks to the encouraging results of this preliminary study, Treadwell says the company is now planning a larger-scale study, which will examine in greater detail how Juvenon can improve memory, focus and cognition. Treadwell and noted anti-aging researchers Dr. Tory Hagen, Ph.D. and Dr. Bruce Ames, Ph.D. were instrumental in developing the Juvenon formula. This clinical trial follows several successful cognition clinical trials conducted on rats and dogs. Juvenon™ Cellular Health features two little-known nutrients that may actually help slow down the hidden cause of aging: Acetyl-L-Carnitine (ALC) and Alpha Lipoic Acid (ALA). Juvenon™ provides a patented balanced ratio of these nutrients, which have been shown to boost mitochondrial function, providing increased energy to help counter cellular aging. Taken as directed, Juvenon can help protect the brain from age-related memory decline while inhibiting/neutralizing toxic substances that act on tissues and organs to impair their function, resulting in the age-associated decline of health and vitality.
